Fish & Chips in Shoreditch

Sunny days, you just want to bask in the sunshine and a nice ice cold drink in hand, my preference, cider! Preferably Koppenbery or Magner's pear cider ^. ^

Well shame no drinking buddies at hand, save it for Friday I suppose, Thursday's are still school night! After work I decided to take a stroll into Shoreditch with what's left of sun for the day, and across the road from the flagship store of All Saints in Spitalfields is a new Fish & Chip shop!

Poppies' Fish&Chips was the place, sit in or take away. Sitting in the decor is very quirky and retro, with a jukebox in the corner, American inspired uniforms a bit dinerish fused with typical British sailor's life trinkets on the wall. I just loved the eccentricity of it all

Food-wise, not too bad. Cost of a portion of chips £1.50 big portion too wrapped with old newspaper printed paper & boxes very nice. Fish ranges pending on the type you want from £5-£8 max but the portions of fish are big. Love British Fish & Chips <3
