As I Arrived to Southbank, crossing the Embankment Bridge, I noticed some colourful huts lined up. How exciting, beach huts on the Southbank, something fun and create and maybe rented out during the Summer. I just love the different colours and designs of each hut, so unique and quirky, reminds me of Exmouth's old beach huts people rented by the seaside.... Hmm now I've got that seaside song in my head!!

Summer feeling on South Bank
As this week is getting warmer and the sun has been happily shining, people's moods lighten up. I ended up going on an after work "date". He told me to meet him and suggested, we could hang around in Southbank.
I thought why not, sun's still shining and it's nice to be beside the Thames.

Once my friend arrived he told me that they had sand and decking further up along the South bank and they plotted a mini garden on one part with noticeboards saying "Southend is the place to be" and other typical beach phrases on bright posters. It's so sweet and quirky will be exciting to see once it's all completed

Day out in Columbia Flower Market
In Devon, the typical Sunday activity I usually get up to with family is walking around the Sunday Markets.
Sunday just gone, I decided to join my friend for a stroll down in East London's Columbia Flower Market, as it was a sunny day didn't want to waste the day an it's one of the places I wanted to check out on London.
Only opened on Sundays 10am-2pm, but people and the bargains don't roll in till 1pm. On very sunny days this is definitely the perfect Sunday activity, though yes typically being London the Market gets crowded, and buzzing full of tourists, local Londoners buying flowers and plants as gifts for friends or for the home
I found haggling for my lilies pretty hard as the boss wouldn't budge the price saying wholesale they were £4.75. In the end I keeled over & paid the £6 now it's learning to look after them!
My friend Yee on the other hand had quite a few bargains 3 for £5 in the mix rain daisies & other floral plants, hopefully they'll survive on her 1st floor flat balcony by the river!
Columbia Road has such an aesthetic character, it's quirky and vintage, in a sense that there are musicians busking on the street, markets selling antique brick and brac.

Fish & Chips in Shoreditch
Sunny days, you just want to bask in the sunshine and a nice ice cold drink in hand, my preference, cider! Preferably Koppenbery or Magner's pear cider ^. ^ Well shame no drinking buddies at hand, save it for Friday I suppose, Thursday's are still school night! After work I decided to take a stroll into Shoreditch with what's left of sun for the day, and across the road from the flagship store of All Saints in Spitalfields is a new Fish & Chip shop! Poppies' Fish&Chips was the place, sit in or take away. Sitting in the decor is very quirky and retro, with a jukebox in the corner, American inspired uniforms a bit dinerish fused with typical British sailor's life trinkets on the wall. I just loved the eccentricity of it all Food-wise, not too bad. Cost of a portion of chips £1.50 big portion too wrapped with old newspaper printed paper & boxes very nice. Fish ranges pending on the type you want from £5-£8 max but the portions of fish are big. Love British Fish & Chips <3

Hong Kong Food Porn Part 1!
I can't believe it's been a week since I've returned from the Far East, I'm still trying to adjust to the reality, even though I'm back to work no problem and had no jet lag back to UK.
As you know I'm quite a Foodie, here's an insight of the amazing food I tried out in HK
A Friend and I went to Tai Po Market for some street food, in this typical Chinese market, there's a food hall with many stalls/mini kitchens selling different types of food, from noodles, rice, roast meats quick and cheap! ^.^

Beef in sauce, can't remember what sauce they put in, but the meat was very tender & great wrapped with the lettuce and cucumber
Rice cake with sweetcorn, very light, must know how to make!
Pineapple Fried rice in the Thai Restaurant
Star shaped fish tofu with noodles & a new found favourite fish skin dumplings (魚皮餃)
HK Classic Fish-ball noodles and Ho Fun $12

Vogue event @ Westfield, Shepherd's Bush
Great fun thing about being in London, when you have the time and opportunity to do so that is, attending free events:-
Whether it is attending as part of an audience to free shows, fairs, or my favourite fashion events. Yesterday Westfield held an event sponsored by Vogue and Tatler magazine, discounted shopping, free food, make overs, free drink and entertainment, who can complain?
Entertainment-wise in the shopping mall, Sophie Ellis- Bextor DJing, some C list girl band performing don't remember their name, but I think they've promoted themselves over @ GAY in Soho.
Naomi Campbell also attended the shopping Centre as she was also launching her pop up shop, Fashion Relief, designer clothes previously worn by the model herself and all the designer goods sold, money goes towards the Prince's Trust charity.
I definitely didn't enjoy the queue into Mulberry. Three girls that stood behind me yapping away, they where the typical "Like Oh My God! Girls" gave me a headache and needed drink to numb the pain! didn't need to hear how desperate you are to get laid and dying for the free booze, and is it necessary to say out loud that your ogling over the fit waiters?? Not necessary thank you.
On the up side, I did receive a nice goodie bag from Mulberry, very sweet and adorable.
Who doesn't enjoy a free fashion event with discount, and free food & drink? Hehehehe
